Today marks the second wedding anniversary of my beautiful wife and I.
I couldn't be happier and I love her more and more each and every day.
We had a great romantic day together today including dinner on top of Kaiti Hill, she also bought me the most amazing new Tattoo book!
I am so blessed to have her in my life.
Here's to many more happy years together.
I love you sweetheart...

A great start to the day

Just sitting in my car listening to the mixes of our new album "Unbreakable" about to grip and sip on a Rockstar... This drank is definitely my beverage of choice these days.
Should really try to get an endorsement from these dudes as I'm complety sick of V hahaha.
Steady Bloggin' on my new sexy white iPhone 3GS (32GB model
Ofcourse).
This is the perfect iPhone, I've had every version from the first to the last and I must say Apple have outdone themselves... Extremely fast performance, killer camera, dope video camera and the 3.1 apps are off the chain... Perfect device really, especially for someone like me who lives on their email.
Taking notes to send through to Zorran tonight for the final mix-down before the tracks go off to be mastered.
It sounds extremely heavy and the production is killer, definitely a cut above anything we have done before, so stoked!
We are shooting our first video for the album on November 14th which will be a heap of fun and we can't wait for everyone to see it!
This weekend will consist of maximum movie time hangs with my wife and my dog, some Street Fighter IV action and some well needed sleep... Something I ain't ever never ever know nuttin' bout.
Hope everyone has a blessed day and a killer weekend!

APPLE PORN...
One of my all time favourite things to do (mainly as a means of procrastination at work and at home during lengthy projects) is browsing flickr for photos of people's Apple Mac setups.
Just type in Apple Mac, mac setup or Apple porn and you'll see exactly what I mean.
Just when I think my Apple addiction couldn't be any worse, I am comforted by the fact that there are hundreds, even thousands of people with the exact same problem worldwide.
As much as I'm not going to rant on about how PC's suck (which they don't) and how much Apple Macs are the most amazing and user friendly computers known to man (which they most certainly are) I must say a PC has never been as sexy as anything Steve Jobs and his slaves have ever been able to produce...

TONIGHT WE CELEBRATED!

Tonight me and the rest of my band members along with my wife Helen, Ben's girlfriend Kim and our producer Zorran went out to a restaurant to celebrate some of the best news I have ever had in my life.
Today we officially announced our new record deal with USA's Strike First Records.
The label is a divison of Facedown Records and is owned and operated by the same staff.
This is a huge dream come true for me and the band, I grew up listening to bands on this label, I've got most of their catalogue in my CD racks, the posters on my walls and I've always day dreamed about being up there on stage some day with kids going crazy singing my bands songs and being on an awesome label like this.
God is amazing and throughout the last few years this dream has become a reality and I have been blessed with the privilege of honoring Him and spreading his Gospel worldwide whilst doing something that I have a huge passion for, something that brings me so much joy.
We couldn't be more excited about what God has in store for us in the near future and we really look forward to working closely with Jason and the rest of the awesome Facedown/Strike First staff as we prepare to release our new album 'Unbreakable' in the US in early January.
We have a brand new song up on our myspace as well as a press release and more info on what's goin' on.
It's so crazy to go to the Strike First and Facedown websites and myspaces to see us on there along side some of my all time favourite bands.
I thank the Lord for his huge blessing and pray that He is glorified above all through this!
Thank you to all of my friends, my family and our fans for helping to make this happen!
I love you all.
Be Blessed, dream big, trust in the Lord and stay faithful to Him, and he will to you.

Terminator Salvation

So I just finished watching Terminator Salvation at the movies with wifey and some of my bandmates.
Not nearly as bad as I expected... quite possibly the most action packed film I've seen in years.
Non stop violence and destruction from start to finish... unbeatable cinematography and CGI.
My only gripe is that (as much as I love Christian Bale) Edward Furlong should have most definitely played the part
of John Connor... it would have made the whole film 1000x better.
Not entirely sure what the story is there, but I feel that it had little to do with Furlong turning down the opportunity,
more likely a lot to do with the financiers of the film wanting to cast Bale in it seeing as he is much more of an icon in
the past decade, especially with recent major parts in the likes of the new Batman etc. make sense financially, but
totally rips my undies... n time and now I'm more pumped than ever to watch Judgement Day.
It's been too long.
Go watch it, I give it an easy 9 out of 10.
Bed time now... tomorrow is my 'off day' from the gym and new eating plan (oh yeah I've already dropped 5 kg)
and on the menu are pancakes, vegan bacon and chicken and cheese burgers... psyched.
Goodnight world.

It's been a long time...
It's been a long time between posts.
Man I almost gave up on blogging to tell you the truth.
Never enough time or inspiration or maybe both?!
So much has changed in such little time...
Since the last time I wrote, Saving Grace parted ways with Simon and now Ben is back in the band.
Ben played the Bring Me The Horizon and Cancer Bats support with us because Simon smashed his ankle
a day before the show and Ben stepped up, it felt good to be back on the road with him and having him up on the stage.
It seemed natural... A few days later I got a text from Simon saying that he was leaving the band, Ben was psyched to
rejoin and since then we have been writing again.
We are going to be recording some new tracks with Zorran in the next few weeks, I'm really pumped.
The new material is heavy and different and I can't wait to see what people think of it... quite an Earth Crisis vibe in one of the new tracks too.
We are going back to Australia soon, this time I get to take my lovely wife. It will be her first time outside of New Zealand and she is really excited, so am I, it will be great!
We have started the 12 week challenge at the gym, this involves eating 6 small healthy meals a day and working out at the gym 6 times a week... something I need more than words can describe.
We are now at the end of week one and I feel great, we have been getting up at 6am each morning and working out, in the first week I lost 3kgs. I'm feeling motivated and positive!
Spoke to the New Zealand artist relations manager of Schecter Guitars on the phone last week, if all goes well there will be an endorsement in the works sooooon!
I promise to update at least twice this week!
Blessings

Saving Grace and Ricky Bobby Tour Part 2

It's rainging outside... this is generally a good thing.
Not so much tonight, because in a few hours time we get back on the road for Part 2 of the Saving Grace North Island Autumn tour with our friends Ricky Bobby.
We leave Gisborne at about 5.15pm this afternoon and drive for over 5 hours in the dark and in the rain through terrible terrain to play a show that starts at about 10.30pm, I have mixed feelings, but all in all right now I'm not psyched.
I'm sure this will change when we arrive though, last weekend was one of the best times I've had on tour in a long while.
Palmerston North tonight and Wellington tomorrow night, looking forward to some sweet hangs with the likes of xzealandx, xhaydox and janel and homeboy sam30.
Needless to say, I'm not doing a TGIF feature this week, because I have no time and little inspiration, however there are a lot of plans instore for new posts when I get back next week.
Back to stocktake... ugggghh.
